Νέο προνόμιο για τα μέλη της AOPA

Dear all,
From today, all your members (as long as they have paid their yearly dues) may benefit from an offer made by the exclusive European importer of a new system that enhances safety during landings.

Microket Solutions LLC, an American company, has developed a LIDAR-based altimeter. Starting at 200 feet above ground, it announces to the pilot its exact height from the ground down to 1 foot above the ground. It also connects to the landing gear extension system for retractables to provide a gear alarm (Gear, Gear, Gear,!)
Garmin has introduced an equivalent system (GHA™ 15) sold for €2,000 ex taxes.

The LH-200 C Syem from Microkit Solutions is sold for around USD 1165 complete. It is installed in an inspection plate under the wing or the fuselage.

This Landing Height System is FAA-approved for installations on FAA-certified airplanes.

It includes a built-in eye-safe Class 1 Laser (Light Detection and Ranging) and an audio interface system to hear height announcements when coming to land.

  • Aural height announcements starting 200 ft.
  • Fully enclosed unit with quick-disconnect 5-wire connector
  • An advance Audio interface that can be updated to use any language or accent if desired
  • Built-in Wi-Fi interface for Set-Up and feedback with any Phone (iOS or Andriod), Tablets, or PC/Laptops
  • Runs on both 12V or 24V Aircraft power Systems.
  • Gear Warning System with isolated input to detect the status/condition of the Landing Gear using a single wire.
  • GPS RS232 input from an external GPS

The Landing Height System offers situational awareness aid, added safety, and great advantages; especially in situations such as:

  • When being used to 50 ft wide runway then visiting a 100 ft or 150 ft wide runways.
  • Night landings especially when not current.
  • When transitioning from a slower/trainer airplane to a higher-performance airplane.

Customers actual feedback:

– Perfect when going to a runway of a wider or different width.

– Precise and perfect landing each time.

– Helped me a lot at night landings with my not-so-bright landing light

New Features:

LHS-200-C units include a Gear Warning System,  a physical check with a single wire that can be hooked to the gear switch/lever or to a single gear indicator light to detect if the gear is still raised when the unit starts to detect the grounds.   Once the unit detects the landing gear is still raised, it does not announce height but keeps repeating "Check Landing Gear" every 4 seconds.

The 200-C also includes a GPS RS232 Aviation/NMEA 0183 format input.  When connected to a GPS source on the airplane, this input will offer a higher GPS-reported altitude.   The 200-C uses the exact same case & laser sensor as the previous 100-B model.

This unit is approved for installation on an internal access panel or inspection plate (above the access panel; inside the wing or fuselage).  Contact us for a different unit that is approved for external installations (below an access panel or inspection plate)
