AMEs
In a campaign to alleviate the financial burden on pilots, AOPA has contacted all AMEs (Aero Medical Examiners) and some of them have volunteered to charge lower prices to members of the AOPA Hellas that renew their medical certificates.
This offer comes at a difficult economic situation and takes into account the efforts made by AOPA Hellas for General Aviation.
The names of participating doctors is listed in the table below. As the cooperation is voluntary, the list may change in the future.
According to the offer, the participating AMEs will not charge for their services, more than the prices listed below:
(A). Renewal of Medical Certificate for PPL degree not more than 80 Euro
(B). Initial release certificate for PPL degree not more than 110 Euros
(C). Renewal of Medical Certificate for CPL degree not more than 120 Euros
This applies to members of the AOPA Hellas, upon presentation of their membership card, and as long as it has not expired. AOPA of other European countries, provided they happen to be in Greece, can also benefit.
